  Small village just outside of upminster. Various shops in two different areas. Avon road has 3 restaurants and a takeaway fish and chips shop and a pub the golden crane which does food off a fairly extensive menu. Opposite this area is upminster park estate which is served by the 248 bus which goes to romford from here. About 10 minutes walk down front lane is cranham village where their are many shops including a Tesco metro,a bakers a few restaurants and a pub called the plough which also serves lovely food and has many tv's showing all main sports and has live entertainment on regular evenings. Further on down the road turn left at T junction you will find the jobbers rest and thatched house pubs which both have good food service
